As the chart shows, when you consider all
factors, Theralac is the most cost-effective ProBiotic supplement available!

 |
Theralac 5+2 Biotherapy
Consider this...100 trillion wild bacteria live in your intestinal tract, one of
the most complex ecosystems known!
Your health depends on whether beneficial probiotic bacteria are in control!
Stress, fast food, prescription drugs and aging favor harmful bacteria.
Put Theralac in control with probiotic power never before available: 20
billion CFU/Capsule in an Acid Proof formulation.
5 Symbiotic Probiotics
Theralac capsules contain five beneficial strains of probiotic bacteria that
adhere to the soft lining of the intestinal tract and help maintain a healthy
surface. Their scientific names and strain identities are:
- Lactobacillus paracasei, strain F-19

- Lactobacillus acidophilus, strain LA-1
- Lactobacillus rhamnosus, strain HN001
- Bifidobacterium lactis, strain HN019
- Bifidobacterium bifidum, strain BB-12
The Lactobacillus or “Lacto” strains are most active in the small intestine,
particularly in the lower section called the ileum. The Bifidobacterium or
“Bifido” strains are most active in the colon. These five probiotic strains
function by a number of natural mechanisms that include competitive exclusion of
undesirable microorganisms and modulation of the immune system; their
effectiveness is backed by over 110 scientific studies.
Theralac’s probiotic bacteria have been isolated from the intestinal tracts of
healthy people and are purified, concentrated and freeze-dried before being
incorporated into Theralac capsules. Probiotic bacteria are very sensitive to
stomach acid and are largely killed during passage through the stomach. The
probiotics in Theralac have been protected by a natural acid-proof formulation
(patent pending) that utilizes sodium alginate from seaweed and grape skin
extract. |
The following photos are from the Therabiotics, Inc. U.S. patent application for
acid proofing probiotic bacteria. Acid proof probiotics survive exposure to
stomach acid and arrive in the small intestine at full strength. Studies show
that greater 99% of unprotected probiotics are killed when exposed to stomach
acid (pH 1.6) for one hour, a typical time spent in the stomach. Unprotected
probiotics are very ineffective in the intestinal tract!
Theralac’s® patent pending process involves blending the probiotic
bacteria with sodium alginate (from seaweed) and grape skin extract
(Antioxidant/Buffer) and is distinctly different and safer than enteric coated
formulations that utilize derivatives of acrylic acid (a synthetic chemical).
All components in Theralac® are natural, food grade, digestible
substances! |

The flask above was photographed immediately and at 5 minutes and 30 minutes
after adding the gel structures – simulating what happens when they pass from
the stomach into the small intestine (duodenum). It can be seen that the gel
structures readily dissolve and disperse at pH 7.5, releasing the probiotic
bacteria unharmed. |

The photo above is of the flask that contains simulated intestinal juice at
pH 7.5 and two Theralac® gel structures after 5 minutes exposure. |
